World 2 is arguably the most popular and important of all of the worlds (servers) upon which RuneScape is played. For many years, it has been widely acknowledged as the “go-to” place for members who want to buy, sell and trade items in real time. Literally hundreds of players congregate in the central marketplace in Falador, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There’s no other place like it in the game.

Unfortunately, the busy nature of World 2, especially in Falador, brings with it many challenges, and outright frustrations. It can be hard to get into the server, and when you do, it is often daunting to make sense of all the seeming pandemonium in the crush of the marketplace. New players have no idea what to do or where to even start trying to find the locations where the items they are interested in are being traded.

J In this relatively short guide—well, short by my usual verbose standards anyway—I will give you lots of useful information to help you make sense of trading in World 2. I’ll start with an overview of World 2 and the Falador marketplace, so you understand in more detail what it is about and when you should use it. I’ll also show you how it compares to other trading options. I’ll then give you a lot of useful tips to help you more easily get into the market, prevent yourself from losing items, and avoid headaches and spam. I’ll also provide you with some ideas to help you conduct successful trades more quickly and effectively.

Most people will find the last two pages of this guide to be its centerpieces, however. They contain overview and detailed trade location maps, which show where all of the major trading hot spots are in the Falador market. These maps are based on actual pictures of World 2 Falador in action, manually stitched from over a hundred screenshots and then annotated in coded colors and text. They’re the most detailed World 2 Fally maps ever published.
