[ Nats: Natures.

[ Natures: Nature runes. Important runes that are used for high alchemy, transformation, binding and other essential spells.

[ NB: Not bad.

[ Neeb: Yet another variation on Noob.

[ Newb: Newbie. A new player. This is also sometimes used to refer to an experience player behaving in a foolish or annoying manner, but for this use Noob is more common.

[ NFS: Not for sale. Standard response given to a player who asks to buy an item of equipment that someone else is wearing but not advertising for sale.

[ Noob: Technically this means a new player, but is more commonly used as a generic insult to refer to a player that someone finds annoying. Often preceded by a qualifier to indicate more specifically what the utterer is upset about; for example, a PKer might say “pray noob” to deride an opponent for using prayer during combat. Contrast to Newb and Choob.

[ NP: No problem.

[ NPC: Non-player character. This term refers generally to all characters in the game other than human players (for example, shopkeepers, personalities involved in quests, and so forth.)

[ NTY: No thank you.

[ Nub: Variant of noob.

[ NVM: Never mind.
