[ D: 1. Dragon, especially when used in reference to armor or weapons made from the red dragon material. 2. Dark, when used to refer to the dark bow.

[ D []: Dragon square shield.

[ D2H: Dragon two-handed sword.

[ Dag: Dagannoth.

[ Dagannoth: Dangerous monsters that live on Waterbirth Island.

[ Dagannoth King: One of a trio of three very high level monsters deep in a dungeon on Waterbirth Island. Famous as a place where high level players go, in search of the valuable items they drop.

[ Dagganoth: Common misspelling of “dagannoth”.

[ D Axe: Dragon axe.

[ DBA: Dragon battleaxe.

[ D Bone: Dragon bone.

[ D Bow: Dark bow.

[ D Hally: Dragon halberd.

[ DD: Dragon dagger. More often seen poisoned as DDP++ or DDS.

[ DDP: Dragon dagger, poisoned.

[ DDP++: Dragon dagger, super poisoned. One of the most popular melee combat weapons in the RuneScape due to its low cost, good special attack and strong poison. Still often called by its old name, DDS.

[ DDS: Dragon dagger, super poisoned. This is the old name for the weapon now called the dragon dagger (p++) or DDP++.

[ Deaths: Death runes. These runes are used for high-level combat and other spells.

[ Def: Defence level. See Defence.

[ Defence: One of the fundamental combat skills; its level determines how well a character resists damage done by monsters and many other sources.

[ DFH: Dragon full helmet.

[ DFS: Dragonfire shield.

[ D Full: Dragon full helmet.

[ DH: 1. Dharok’s. One of the six Barrows armor sets. 2. Dragonhide.

[ Dhide: Dragonhide.

[ Disk: Disk of Returning.

[ Disk of Returning: Was used many years ago to allow players to return from the “black hole” where game rulebreakers were put. This feature was removed and the disks are now expensive rare items. For more information, see Rare.

[ DIY: Do it yourself.

[ DK: Dagannoth Kings.

[ DKing: Going to fight the Dagannoth Kings.

[ D Legs: Dragon platelegs.

[ D Long: Dragon longsword.

[ DM: Deathmatch. A fight to the death between two PKers, clans or groups of PKers.

[ D Med: Dragon medium helmet.

[ DOR: Disk of Returning.

[ Drag: Dragon. Usually means an actual dragon and not the red armor/weapon material.

[ Dragon: 1. One of the many types of dragons in RuneScape. 2. A red material from which some of the highest level weapons and armor in the game are made.

[ Dragon Axe: This normally refers to the dragon woodcutting axe, not the dragon battleaxe. It is the highest level woodcutting axe in the game.

[ Dragon Chain: The best of the normal body armor in the game; obtained primarily from the Kalphite Queen, but occasionally as a very lucky drop from Dust Devils or other sources.

[ Dragonfire Shield: One of the most powerful shields in the game, it absorbs dragon breath attacks and then allows the user to release the dragonfire against opponents.

[ Dragonhide: Hides from green, blue, red or black dragons, the leather made by tanning them (also called dragon leather or d leather) or the armor items made from such leather.

[ Dragonstone: A purple gem that is the second most valuable in the game, after onyx. Obtained mainly from the crystal chest in Taverly, but occasionally as a very rare drop from certain monsters or a reward from other sources.

[ Drop: An item that is left behind as a reward by a monster or player upon death. May also refer to rewards in other contexts, such as items obtained from a minigame.

[ Drop Rate: Refers to the frequency with which a particular item is dropped by a monster.

[ DS: Dragon spear.

[ D Scimitar / D Scimmy: Dragon scimitar.

[ D Skirt: Dragon skirt.

[ DSP: Dragon spear, poisoned.

[ DSP++: Dragon spear, super poisoned.

[ D Sq / D Sqr / D Square: Dragon square shield.

[ DSS: Dragon spear, super poisoned. This is the old name for the weapon now called the dragon spear (p++) or DSP++.

[ D Stone: Dragonstone.

[ Dueling: Two players competing through combat in a controlled environment. May be for fun (funning) or a wager (staking).

[ Dust Devil: A medium-level Slayer monster famous for rarely dropping the valuable dragon chain armor.

[ Dusties: Dust devils.
