The Fundamentals of Luring in RuneScape

Since there are so many different lures, you need to really read the individual descriptions of the various types to understand them fully. Even so, some general information on the nature of luring and the people who do it will help you better understand the risks that luring poses to you.

I'll start out with a bit of a discussion about the nature of lurers and luring, so you can hopefully get more into the mindset of the people who want to scam you. I'll detail some general common sense tips to avoid being lured, and give you some advice on what to do if you do fall victim. I'll conclude with a discussion of some simple changes Jagex could make to combat common lures, but that the company still has not implemented.
