Analysis

They’re baaaaaaaack... just when it seemed the fervoer over Sara brews was over, they have spiked up again. It’s hard to tell how much of this is real demand and how much is speculation, but they are on the move once more, and so are their components. It will be interesting to see where this market settles out. Other big gainers were items related to maging, because of Fist of Guthix. Oak logs went up from 16 to 22 gp, a big move I really can’t say I know the reason behind.

On the losing side, antifire pots corrected after being driven up in the prior week or two, and of course, so did pure essence. In fact, if anything, I think pure ess overcorrected and will go back up again. Seeing magic seeds on the list of losing items is a bit of a surprise, I must admit.

Indexes were all mostly quiet except for Runecrafting, which had a big move down due to the drop in prices of both regular and pure essence, on which the skill is highly dependent. The Mage Training Arena gained from renewed interest in items it provides, and Farming benefited mainly from reduced seed prices, with high-level herb seeds leading the list of index losers.
