TWIRP Skill Indexes Report and Analysis (2008/04/14) This section of the report highlights the weekly results for the skill-based indexes. There are two different types of indexes tracked here: composite indexes broken down by level (which include all skills), and indexes by skill type (which include all levels). For more details on these indexes, please see TWIRP Skill Indexes; if you are not familiar with TWIRP as a whole, please refer to the TWIRP Quick Guide before proceeding. Skill Composite Yield (Low-Level)
[TWIRP-S(l)]: 91.5 -1.8% q
I had to laugh on seeing this chart, because just last week I had pointed out that the three skill level indexes always seemed to move in tandem and so maybe I should discontinue this part of the report. I still may, but as you can see this week, the low-level skills had a very different week than the high-level skills did. My best guess is that the large rise in oak log prices has a lot to do with this. Construction Affordability (TWIRP-S-CONa):
79.4 -0.4% q
A big reversal for Runecrafting, as mentioned earlier in the report, and otherwise not much of interest going on with skills. Ironically, the skills index on the whole was up even though the majority of skill indexes slightly decreased, with Cooking leading the way.
