In this subsection I describe the results of the highest-level TWIRP composite indexes, which show the overall impact of the week’s changes on the economy. For more details on these indexes, please see TWIRP Composite Indexes. This section formerly contained player profile indexes as well, but these turned out to be nearly identical to the composite indexes, so I have suspended reporting them in order to cut down on report length; you can read more about them here. Composite Indexes

Global Composite Yield (TWIRP): 94.5 -0.2% q
Global Composite Affordability (TWIRPa): 94.0 -1.0% q
Global Composite Income (TWIRPi): 100.6 +0.8% p

Skill Composite Yield (TWIRP-S): 98.0 +0.5% p
Combat Composite Yield (TWIRP-C): 90.6 -0.8% q

This week we saw a continuation of increases for skillers and losses in the combat area. Global affordability dropped while income went up, consistent with overall price rises.

Overall, another very quiet week, though the offsetting roles played by combat and skilling last week reversed themselves this time. It’s almost certain that this is a result of players shifting to combat in Fist of Guthix. The skilling index was greatly influenced upwards by Runecrafting, just as it went down last week for a similar reason.
