Specific Dangers and Behavioral Concerns in the RuneScape Community

Now that you hopefully have an understanding of some of the key issues related to children and RuneScape, it's time to get into the details of the negative aspects of the game.

In this subsection I will describe some of the specific dangers and issues related to behavior in RuneScape that parents need to know about. This includes a discussion of the nature of the acts committed in the course of play, and a look at the rampant verbal abuse and bad language by players. I then tell you about issues such as greed, addiction, gambling and cheating which are very common in the game today. I provide an overview of scamming and luring, which are discussed in much more detail in their own sections elsewhere in TruthScape, and conclude with some warnings about online friendships and relationships.
