Non-Wilderness Luring Methods and Locations

The last set of lures I want to describe are those where the lurer tries to get the victim killed outside the Wilderness. Like illegal Wilderness lures, these tricks are obnoxious because they involve deliberately deceiving and betraying people. They are also difficult to protect yourself against unless you know exactly what the lurer is trying to do, because they take advantage of weaknesses and hidden dangers that aren't obvious to new players, or outright bugs that Jagex hasn't fixed.

I'll start by describing lures that involve players leading victims into dangerous places where they can be killed by their surrounding or by monsters. I'll then discuss the special case of luring at the Dagannoth Kings, one of the most hazardous places in RuneScape. Finally, I'll tell you about how scammers use tele-other to trick people into dying in certain spots, and describe the incredibly annoying “door scam”.
