Jungle Herbs
Jungle Potion is a simple, “go ‘fer” quest that takes place on the tropical island of Karamja. All you really do in this quest is speak to a villager in Tai Bwo Wannai, and then get for him five special herbs that he asks for, which are found in various spots on the island. The quest is really rather dull, but is a prerequisite for several other RuneScape quests.
The five herbs involved in this quest are ardrigal, rogue’s purse, sito foil, snake weed and volencia moss, which are sometimes collectively called jungle herbs. Like other herbs, they are found in a grimy state and must be cleaned, but they differ from regular herbs in three important ways:
- They can only be cleaned after starting the Jungle
Potion quest.
- They are the only herbs that are obtained as
spawns, rather than as drops or by Farming.
- They are rather useless. J Of the five, only two have any use at all, and those are only for specialty potions that are of little importance to the game overall.
It is possible that Jagex will invent more uses for these herbs in the future, but for now at least, they aren’t really in the same league as other herbs, which is why I’ve separated them out here.
