Incidental Herb Droppers

Primary herb droppers are the best of the best when it comes to getting herbs via combat, while secondary herb droppers could be called, I suppose, the “best of the rest”. Take those away and you are left with… “the rest”. J These are monsters that do drop herbs, but aren’t really suitable for tackling specifically for that purpose. This is generally due to low drop rates, difficulty in fighting them, inconvenient locations and other reasons.

Table 34 contains a listing of most of the other at-least-somewhat-common monsters that drop herbs but were not covered in preceding topics. The table is listed in increasing order of combat level. Due to the large number of monsters that can provide herbs, I have restricted this list to only “regular” monsters that you might have occasion to fight under normal circumstances; specialty and quest monsters have been omitted.

Note also that I have not tried all of these, so if you think something here doesn’t belong, feel free to let me know.
