Additional Information and Tips for Herb Farming Success Using the Kingdom of Miscellania for Herbs or Other Resources

Dungeon floors and Farming patches are undeniably the best places to find herbs in RuneScape, but killing chaos druids and planting herb seeds gets boring after a while. Fortunately, Jagex has done a good job of implementing many alternative methods by which players can get herbs. Some of these are truly fantastic resources that allow you to increase your herb haul with little effort; others are less efficient, but at least break up the monotony of constant combat and Farming.

In this section I describe in some detail three of the alternate ways you can get herbs for your skilling pleasure. The first is the Kingdom of Miscellania, which effectively lets you get NPC farmers to grow herbs for you. The second is the macaw Summoning familiar, whose Herbcall scroll generates herbs while you do other activities. And the third is Salarin the Twisted and the sinister chest, a great source of high-level herbs.

The last topic here covers about a half-dozen miscellaneous herb sources, some of which may appeal to certain players, though some are really included more for completeness than anything. J
